The boom is a carbon fiber rod compatible with the Micro series microphones. It is lightweight, and can attach to any microphone stand. Each microphone comes with a 25' cable, which features mini XLR to XLR connectors. The mini XLR attaches to the end of the MicroBoom for a clean, discreet look. A shielded cable is used
